A marathon broadcast on the Museum At Risk: Artists Speak Out action—running across both Radio Centraal and We Are Various!
At 1:30 PM, Dennis Tyfus took over part of the editorial program live from the M HKA, interviewing several passersby: Christine Lambrechts, Christine Clinckx, Vaast Colson, Ken Verhoeven, Kris Van Dessel, Nav Haq, Gerard Herman. Gradually, the Radio Centraal programming transitioned into the Museum At Risk action, featuring 120 artists and figures from the broader arts community who came to speak, perform, or make music.
Museum At Risk demands four things:
- We want a museum of contemporary art in Antwerp.
- A museum of contemporary art needs a collection.
- An internationally renowned museum of contemporary art requires appropriate infrastructure and funding.
- We demand a voice and co-decision rights in the reform of Flemish museums.
From 8:00 PM, the action continued live on We Are Various.
As with any on-location broadcast, some technical audio issues occurred—our apologies!
